Tell Me About Aroma Point Reiki
Aroma Point Reiki (APR) combines the healing power of essential oils with acupuncture points (acupoints) and energy centers (Chakras), to bring about profound shifts in the body, mind and spirit. No needles are used. An essential oil in a carrier oil is placed on the acupoint. It's a completely safe and exceptionally effective healing modality utilizing plant medicine at energetic access points. Imagine the essential oils waking up and amplifying the energy centers with their specific gifts. Each sacred oil has unique properties that are offered to the receiver in this process—some bring harmony and peace, restore a wounded heart, nurture self-esteem or clarify boundaries. Others reconnect us to our divine depth and support us to speak our truth or help us remember all that we are.

Essential oils stimulate the acupoints in a similar way as acupuncture needles. Essential oils work when paired with mutually resonant energy acupoints. For example, the oil Laurel "the discerning seer", when used on the Yin Tang or third eye, will open and support visionary capabilities and encourage creative insight from our higher mind. Using Lavender "the everyday healer" on acupoint
LI4, will restore our connection to our internal resources and reduce anxiety, insomnia and depression. Or Bergamot "creator of equilibrium" on ear Shenmen, works to relieve stress and anxiety, clear any blockages and can assist in balancing all seven Chakras.

Just what does an APR session comprise of?
We'll talk about your wishes for the session and identify the oils and resonant acupoints to use. Near the beginning of the Reiki session, the practitioner places essential oils directly on the Chinese medicine acupuncture points. These specific oils are chosen just for you, based on what you want to focus on in that session. We'll talk about how the oils will enhance the Reiki session and afterward we'll finish with a conversation about your experience and how to create ongoing support if desired.

And after Aroma Point Reiki?
Drink plenty of water to hydrate your body. If you can, spend some quiet time after your session. Journaling or reflection may offer personal insights or further clarity. If desired you'll leave with some essential oils and a plan for how to continue a home practice.

Can I drive after my session?
Yes, but after the deep relaxation of your session you may need to take a few minutes to become alert again. Consciously grounding your energy is important, and if you have time, take a walk outside and lean into the relaxation.
